new ultrawide monitor

Of all of the above I am considering the Dell S3422DWG, but the one thing putting me off is that G-Sync compatible doesn't work if the frame rate drops below 60. (tearing and flickering)
Smearing is also an issue but it does appear to be much reduced on this monitor vs older ones.

I've not come across any of the cheap UW VA panels that don't have issues when the adaptive sync rate drops to 60 or below, they all seem to flicker!

I’ve ordered the Dell as I could get it for £365. Won’t know how good it is until I’m back in the UK beginning October.

Spent too much time myself looking at all the options and price points. :rolleyes:

Took the plunge this moment to purchase the Gigabyte G34WQC. Hopefully it works out ok for mostly playing games and at a competitive price point. Really didnt want to spend £700+
Seen the Acer Predator XB34GS and was wayyyyy to tempted!
