New unit size with **** PPD anyone? :p

P6701, a bit over twice the normal size based on frame times, with PPD down to 65% of normal?

Picked one up yesterday and it's really slow. Worse than that is that the rig it's on has frozen twice since it started it, requiring reboots (second time was half an hour after I went to bed last night so lost 7 hours Folding time on that and the two GPU clients on that machine - cost me about 7,000 points ). I'm heading out to Egypt today for work so, if it freezes again, I'm going to lose a lot more Folding time with it.

Just checked and I've picked up another two on two of my other rigs. Between the three rigs, HFM is reporting about 10k ppd less than when working on other WUs

What's worse is that there is a thread on the Folding forums with a lot of people saying the bonus points for these WUs aren't being awarded yet. Pande Group have been informed so hopefully that will be sorted soonish.

I've done 7 of them. They're not too bad for me. I only go from 6000ppd down to 5000ppd. Maybe they are more influenced by the PC being used than other WUs? I don't use the PC im folding on..

Looks like i wont finish this Wu today with an eta of 22 hours i only fold in the day time and normally only fold a A3 if I'm at home all day
Tomorrow I'm out most of the day so the time i get to finish it the points will of halved

Just heard from the Pande Group. They are fixing the bonusing problem on future assignments of p6701 and will issue recredits for the missed bonuses after the fix has stabilized and is known to be working. As usual, the recredits won't happen instantly, but the missing points will be restored.
