New update for NVIDIA SHIELD to 9.2

I didn't think we'd see another major update so it's good to see NVIDIA still supporting this.

Adding Auro3D support might not be useful to many but it's often my upmixer of choice, especially when playing music.

Impressive. I'm still using my Shield Stick, but it's definitely getting less use since i added a Xbox Series X

I regularly have my remote being unresponsive for the first minute or so after turning on the Sheild - highly irritating! I see there is mention of this in the patch notes, I'll get it installed tonight to see if it helps.

Mine often disconnects with shield :/ hopefully this improves something

Pity it doesn't do native auro3d processing, so it would work with any avr/av pre.

The adverts were driving me nuts - and mine never seemed to change, had the same one for over a year.

I finally installed a launcher (to overhaul the homepage) which stripped out all ads. I'm very pleased now. I went with 'Projectivity Launcher', it's the first one listed in the article below:

Literally got my update tonight. Sure it’s helping some people with something… but all I want is to hide the Nosferatu advert coming up that scares my daughter

loads of appz solve this, one i use is Projectivy Launcher. does the job great + can edit loads of way on what screen shows. it on google play, with many other of the same idea.

I've tried a couple in the past (possibly about 5 years ago ) but none had the same subtle features that I liked. I don't necessarily want a minimalist interface and actually quite like being shown upcoming shows etc. I'll try again tonight and see if I can bend Projectivity Launcher to my needs

The most useful thing for me is the ability to change to your own background picture etc, which would be nice but not worth £5.99 for me.
