New update improves 1080i?

Some people on a forum I visit are saying that since the new update 1080i looks considerably better. Haven't had a chance to try it myself and some also say that it makes no difference but just a heads up in case anyone fancies trying it.

Yewen...dont take this personal but aint that a tiny weeny heavy handed on the guy? so what happens if he cant provide a proof? His account is nuked for life?

He's been warned PLENTY of times, and also suspended too, but still doesn't get the hint.

I want to know if it looks better at 1080i but I sold my component cable and now using VGA.
