I had enough of my crappy old system, which is now close to 3 1/2 years old.

My current spec is:

Athlon 3500+
2GB RAM - GEIL
MSI Mobo - nVidia chipset
Leadtek GeForce 6800 GT AGP

This what I have chosen:

Crucial Ballistix Tracer 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-8500C5 1066MHz Dual Channel Kit (BL2KIT12864AL1065)

Leadtek GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 LGA775 'Wolfdale' 3.00GHz (1333FSB) - Retail

Zalman ZM-GWB8800 Ultra/GTX VGA Water Block

(I already have Zalman RESERATOR 1 Plust)

Asus P5N-D nForce 750i SLi (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

My PSU is 600W rated from Enermax, Noisetaker model

I want to build a system to be able to handle Crysis and similar games without problems and would last at least 2 years.
Thanks,
Marek

Should be fine. Crysis should be ok depending on your resolution. If youre not planning on changing it for a few years id maybe consider a quad core cpu.
