Just arrived..

Intel Q6600 G0
ASUS P5K Premium
Corsair 2GB TwinX DDR2 Cas4 RAM (2 packs)
Artic Freezer 7 Pro.

Will put it all together tomorrow since I got the day off work. Any tips I should know about? Last PC build I did was almost 2yrs ago which was..

AMD Athlon64 3700+
ASUS A8N-e
Corsair 1GB TwinX DDR1 Cas2 (I think Cas2 from top of my head)

Just looked at the Intel/Arctic heatsink & fan and wow what a big change they have made. VERY different from any HS&Fan I have ever seen.

Any BIOS info I need to know about? I heard certain features need disabled/enabled to get the CPU to stay at 2.4Ghz or something and some other things such volts on ram should be changed from auto (as that is default I believe?)

Yes, I am excited :) I also want to make sure I build this right!

I found the Artic Freezer 7 Pro a pain to fit, it just didn't want to clip in, took a lot of force but it went in at the end!

Whilst fitting a freezer 7 pro put your board on a hard wood surface, i thought mine was going to snap with the amoun of pressure i put on :o

I thought mine was going to snap too. I did actually have it on a hard surface, ended up putting it on the carpet with an anti static bag (carpet fibres are very short).
