So after many years of using the same system I decided to treat myself to a small upgrade. I managed to get hold of an Intel 3470 for free from a friend who upgraded to i7 2011 and needed a new mobo to host it.

In a fit of speed I ordered the below this week and is due for delivery shortly.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Gigabyte H77M-D3H Intel H77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard £76.99
1 x BitFenix Prodigy M MATX Cube Case - Midnight Black £64.99
1 x Avexir Core Blue Series 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Memory Kit (AVD3U16000904G-2CW) - Blue Light £59.99
Total : £201.97 (includes shipping : FREE).

I will be reusing the PSU I currently have (Corsair RX-550 i think) and my current GPU (Nvidia GTX260) for the time being. I also have 2 SSD's and a couple of large disks to put in the case too.

Can anyone spot any major issue? I am also looking to upgrade the GPU in the near future to a Nvidia 760 OC.

Will this card fit in the Prodigy M? Will my PSU run it without any issue?

I went for the H77 as I have no interest in overclocking and will just run everything stock anyway.

Probably should have written this before buying but oh well.

Spec looks goo.

Here are the recommended GFX/PSU clearances,

Q: Will the XYZ Power Supply or ZYX Video Card fit inside the Prodigy M?
Video cards at 9.5inches or less will have 200mm of power supply clearance
Video cards at 11 inches or less will have 160mm of power supply clearance
Video cards at over 11 inches will have 150mm of power supply clearance.

What cooler are you using?

Cooler will be the stock one that came with the CPU for now. He did give a motherboard with it too but it was full sized and wouldn't boot (made a thread on here before) so had the CPU tested by a friend with a compatible board.

I'll probably upgrade the cooler after the GPU and maybe go water but for now with no overclock I hope that stock one works ok.
