New Upgrade

Hi. I have:

AM2 mobo 1x PCI-express
AMD 3500+ @ 2.2ghz
gts 320mb
1gb DDR2 Ram
Vista 32bit
600w jeanteach Psu
I am thinking of upgrading to this

Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2 DHX PC2-6400C4DHX TwinX (2x1GB) (£64.61)
EDIT: my mobo only supports up to pc5400-should I buy this instead?-£35.24
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 6000+ 3.00GHz (Socket AM2) - Retail (£101.04) - does this come with a heatsink?

What are your thoughts/ recommendations? Will i need to reinstall windows?
Please help out. Also I have never changed a cpu before. What equipment do I require?

Hoping to buy tomorrow night.

you shouldnt need to reinstall windows but might need to clear cmos

Edit: Found instructions for my mobo

Clearing CMOS
To clear CMOS, follow these steps:

Temporarily set jumper CLRTC to pins 1-2.
Wait 5-10 seconds and then return the jumper to pins 2-3.
When you startup the PC you will need to enter BIOS setup to reset any custom BIOS settings.

Do I do steps 1 and two with power on or off?

Shut down the pc and disconnect the mains power cord.

You may not have to clear the cmos anyway.

I beleave all retail cpu's come with a hsf.
