Hi All,

Been a fairly long since I posted here on a regular basis. But I need help as my computer days of knowing Processors and board types are well out of date.

My current setup is an old Kentsfield Q6600, Gigabyte EP45T-UD3LR motherboard, 8 gig of DDR3 Ram and Nvidia GTX 460 Graphics card.

I think the Ram is still usable with newer boards?

After a new CPU, Motherboard, Graphics Card and SSD Drive. I am hoping that the RAM is ok, and Power supply is a 650w if I remember rightly. Cost I am hoping is around £500 mark I may spend a bit more if needed etc.

Corsair 600w I believe, i remember because I had to buy it after an old one went bang. It was sailing close to the wind Volts wise due to running 5 Hardrives.

Corsair aren't bad atall, so that sounds like a keeper. If you can get the full model please come back and let us know. As im sure you know now, its important to have a good quality PSU.

What case do you currently rock? :)

After digging about in the attic I found the box for it, its a Corsair CX600 ATX PSU, bought from a place I cant mention as a quick fix.

Thanks will have a quick look at each, just worried the AMD option might be a bit power hungry for a 600 watt supply.
