Hi guys,
So I have a spare netbook that is currently doing nothing, so I'm thinking of making use of it. My plan is to connect it up to the flat screen in the living room. The thing is, I already have my ps3 and macbook hooked up, so that covers all my streaming so I don't need it for that. I want to have it as a kind of app based screen that I can access quickly if I need certain information. I don't want to use it too much, I don't want to type much or use it for the internet. I just want some fun useful apps that could be on the screen full time, and just stay there for when I want them. This way I can just control it from my iPad from the couch for fun, or bring up the picture in picture if I need something and my laptop or iPad or phone isn't handy.
So my question is...what kind of things can you think of to include?
Im going to have some date/time thing on there somewhere. I would love a weather widget of some sort, one that isn't the usual windows one. One that was like a long strip showing 5 or so days of weather along the top could be cool. Aside form that, Im looking for anything else that might be fun or helpful!
