She's got a ford c max ecoboom and is sensibly getting shot of it.
Looking for a used car, ideally petrol, similar kind of thing to the c max but without and engine that's likely to brick itself. Mostly used for short ISH runs.
Budget about £10, pushing £12 maybe.
I don't even know where to start these days, she was looking at a Hyundai Tuscan 1.6 petrol and a Mazda cx5 2.2 diesel but both seem to have pretty poor reputation for quite serious engine issues.
