Anyone seen the new layout of the new v2000 yet? Not liking it tbh!

Motherboard is now the 'correct' way up, but on a plus side, it has a removable motherboard tray.
Optical bay covers are of the new sort - perforated to match the rest of the case.
Top compartment is bigger, more optical bays, and bottom compartment is small... no super loops anymore than :(
Appears to have the front usb panel on the top.

Due for march 08 aparently.

I love the look of the V2000 (the old one) I have just googled for the new one but nothing comes up ? have you got any photos mate ?:)

No photo's, and the info i got comes from somewhere that's linked in with quite a few competitors, so i can't mention it :(

The main changes are:

1, no more perforated front (changed to stop dust infiltration)
2, motherboard tray is now accessible from the left side instead of the right.
3, the bottom section has been lowered to make more room for 5.25" bays.

To be honest I rather like it :)

Just found the video.

Seems like an OK case, but I'm not sure it's going to do that well over here. It's nice enough, but nothing as different and special as the older one.

They have changed it to a 'normal' motherboard position because the Japanese market wasn't so keen on the older one.

The space lost at the bottom is quite considerable and I can't see many people needing that many drive bays, but then it may have been done with the idea in mind of using the 5.25" > 3.5" converter bays for HDDs.

I do like the fact that they've tried to remove the dust element, but the fact it now has a solid front (bar the drive bay covers which are perforated and have dust filters) lets it down in my opinion. :(

Overall a nice case, but not as good as it's predecessor.

I think they are sealing off the market currently being stolen by Silverstone and the TJ07.

I bet they will make a grilled bottom section side panel for it.
