New variable limit around J 25 on M25

Why did they pick variable limit signage with speed in yellow text in a red circle

Thought the text is normally white ?

No I'm not ignoring them just wondered why they went against what I thought was normal convention

Btw think same around Clackets south side of M25

Thinking about it perhaps all that matters is a red circle and what's inside it cam be any colour they wish

Perhaps yellow was found to be more visible - just looks strange to.me
