New Vega56 Issue - Windows loads with Green Screen (Driver issue?)

Hi All,

I recently took delivery of OCUK's fantastic Sapphire Vega 56 offer. I removed my old GTX1060 to install this new card.

The computer booted and displayed the BIOS/loading screen just fine. After a long black screen (presumably installing drivers) the display finally showed at ~700x500 resolution.

I rebooted the PC and it switched to 4K native resolution and within about 10 seconds crashed with display corruption. Subsequent reboots into Windows just show a plain dark green screen, sometimes flickering. (note: this isnt like a green version of a BSOD that i've seen online!)

I've tried booting into safe mode and running Display Driver Uninstaller (hello old friend!), and it temporarily fixes the problem. The moment i install new drivers again however i get the green screen back.

I've seen various similar issues online but cannot see any solutions. Does anyone have any idea what maybe the problem? Many thanks for reading :)

What monitor are you using, HDMI or DisplayPort? Could you take a screenshot of the issue and see whether it shows up in the screenshot?

Which model is your Corsair PSU and how old is it?

As the 1060 is a low end GPU where a Vega56 is high end and needs a good PSU to run properly.
