New Vegas

When I got it at ASDA one day after release the guy there told me that they had barely sold any at all within the last day. Maybe it's a bit of a 'meh' game where the people who played FO3 were worried about the bugs and randoms were not really bothered. So they probably got a lot of stock and didn't get rid of it as fast as they thought.

As for bugs, I've encountered none except for some freezes early on and then it hasn't happened again :)

good game overall though in your opinion?

Bought it for my bro, at £32.

Saw the deals at the supermarket and almost knocked myself out with the force of the facepalm.

I've put in quite a few hours now and I've had one random crash (Xbox) and encountered a few random bugs. The majority tend to be game mechanic bugs that they need to rectify, for example one was a terminal that disappeared after completing a mission, wasn't really essential though.

If you read quest guides on stuff like the Fallout Wiki, you can see most of the bugs listed so you can make sure you don't run into any issues with a quest, but I've not really had any.

Personally I think it's really good, in essence it's exactly the same game as Fallout 3 though, with a few changes in that guns are much easier to shoot without using VATS.

I would probably say so far it's a better game, more than anything down to the fact that you have a big open expanse. I prefer that over Fallout 3, because the Capital Wasteland was full of subway tunnels, built up city areas that could only be navigated one way and an open area which wasn't quite as interesting.

Simplest answer is if you liked Fallout 3, you will like it, if you didn't, you probably won't.

Could be holding off like me due to not finishing Fallout 3 yet and learning from my last mistake - buying the DLC off of Live instead of waiting for the GOTY version. Won't be making the same error!
