New Version of Aperture?

Why do you want the new version? Might as well buy a copy now and when a new version comes out you can upgrade for a not very much.

Well I wouldn't hold your breath that an upgrade will solve the problem, whatever it is. Might as well get Lightroom, better product and more support for it.
 
Why are you dreading moving to LR?

I've just made a thread about the two in the Photography section and from my experience with the two - LR seems much more powerful.

I am trailing Lightroom at the moment I find it not as good for Managing images as it works a bit different and not as easy or clear...

If I did move to lightroom how the hell am i going to get all my images from Aperture Library over to lightroom?
 
To be honest I love half of aperture and half of Lightroom both have their pro and cons. But something telling me to move to Lightroom for the extra editing power that i like about it... But Moving my library over is going to be an pain unless someone knows a trick
