damn you... i thought one'd came out and i'd missed it, i get godawful performance with it in vista. :p

Sorry.. I need it too and get bad performance also.. Main point for me is the Ipod won't talk to itunes. I'll be moving my itunes onto my work laptop at this rate...

my shuffle works fine on vista. and my flatmate's nano.

My nano works on vista (x64 ultimate) too. Only dfference is that it doesn't auto start iTunes. If i open iTunes, plug it in, it picks it up and works perfectly.

Well time to give it a go.. I'm on Vista x64 at the moment. What I may end up doing though is putting itunes on a different box :(

Well this version has sorted my shuffle issues I've been having. Roll on the proper Vista version

Does this new version work ok with Vista then?

Yes, within reason, they also added the vista-ish buttons, which look out of place and horrible.

haha, i didn't realise until you pointed that out. Now I'm going to notice them all the time :( and you're right, they look horrible.

Installed and uninstalled straight away, it still does that thing where it reinstalls itself if you change anything like shortcut directories, or if you disable the iPod service

:(
