Well I have had PIA for year but find there service ok I've had to chat to them a lot and find there app doesn't work very well on the iPhone 6 and over Windows it's very slow.

Anyone recommend any others??

Anyone use for all platforms??

Looking for one like pia which don't get funny with torrents

Speeds are pretty good here with PIA (VM 152meg) Also don't have any problems with the Android app although I don't use the Android app that often.

Another vote for AirVPN, their network lock seems pretty idiot proof and they couldn't care less about torrent traffic.

+1 for AirVPN. Their software client (Eddie) is open source and runs on Mac, Linux and Windows. You can also connect via Android, iOS and pfSense, routers etc. Excellent company.

With PIA using Chrome it takes ages for sites to load and forever having to reset my password to be able to connect again.

I was using open vpn at one point on my phone but it never hide my IP and was left open as such.

shall take a look at AirVPN :)

I recently signed up to PIA and used it mainly on my macbook and had no problems with speed (65mb with, 74mb without). I then installed it on my computer again using the PIA software but was only getting 7mb (wired connection). I then setup a vpn manually within windows using my PIA login details instead of the software and get full speed again.

I signed up to ExpressVPN after reading loads of reviews and testing out a few VPNs out there.

I wanted a VPN with excellent speed and one that was not based in the UK/US. Having tried out AirVPN I wasn't that impressed with their speed (although it may have been my connection in the US). Decided to go with ExpressVPN (had it for a month and it has been excellent!). Speeds are 40/10 without 38/9 with.

A little disappointed by their 1 router, 1 computer, 1 handheld device policy but actually seems OK connecting from two places at once. Loads of servers, although unlike AirVPN they don't show you the loads.

A cheeky free month when you sign up: Free

I use PureVPN and i can't complain. Most simple , easy to use VPN ive used so far. And i tend to get my max speed with them. In fact I'm not entirely sure how but my upload on a few occasions increased.

Tell us a little more about your internet hardware setup? I only ask as I have Sky fibre and was using the sky hub attached to my Asus RT66U to provide wireless access. I too noticed really slow speeds when using openVPN protocol through the router. I then put the router into access point mode and used the VPN app in Windows and everything is super fast!

Double NAT and VPN on router were crippling it! Hope that helps.

Using TunnelBear here, PC, iPad, iPhone and Android clients all solid. One thing that might change my mind would be a decent router based VPN instead.
