New Warcraft Guild for OcUK

Just a quick one.. I see there is 40 players now, not sure if any are alts yet but seems to me they could be all mains.. My question is would you guys want to run some vanilla raids, MC, AQs etc.. A couple of members have just said yeah they would love to. So.. whats the verdict on this.?

I know people are leveling at their own pace so I guess there wont be loads of players at 60 at same time but it could be something worth looking into. I know we are not capping and pretending to be a reroll guild that's has to do ALL content but might be a bit of fun, with TS server now active might get some good banter going on.

Love to do this, not done any vanilla before so would be like playing a new game for me lol

OK I've just upgraded from the starter edition... but logging in it still says trail account or upgrade?
I'm hoping that I don't have to pay the sub - isn't it included in the upgrade price?

Thanks

The promise of WoD combined with this thread has mind controlled me into re-subbing too. Character is Canxerian, will probably take me an age to level, and won't be able to be sociable on comms much as small child nearby, but will help with what I can if you'll have me.

It can take a while for upgrades to work properly, they can take upto 48 hours to remove the restrictions and update everything correctly if i remember correctly.

will hopefully be joining up tonight, hope you don't mind a mega noob who is relatively new to pc gaming let alone wow. Going with two character and then will decide on my main as playing just one char will most likely bore me very fast.

Maniok - Orc Hunter
Sinistor - Undead Warlock

Very tempted by this but with the new consoles arriving this week I'm not sure I'd have the time.

What's the server like?
The server is reasonably busy - I'm not usually waiting for long when I join queues for dungeons or PVP - and I'm making enough money on the AH to get by.

I'm considering a DK so I have a high level tank to go with my shaman. I'll try to resist until I get to 55 with my shaman though - otherwise it feels like cheating :D

From a long time player (I have played since release) I'm actually quite impressed with the server at first impressions.

I'm only level ~9 but I enjoyed being in a starter zone that was well populated, it was nice having Zoobie (n00bie) around too, not that we did too much together, but it's always nice having a sense of 'there's a guildie over there' :), I'll have a proper dig around when I get to a capital City and get to read /trade for a while.

I'm quite impressed, I haven't played the game in a few months and even then I didn't really pay any attention to what was happening nor was I part of a community, but the guild is friendly and funny at times (also geeky) and it's nice to have people to talk to and ask for help while you play.

I can only recommend it so far :).
