This isn't one of those "Spec me a £3000 watch to wear once every year" threads.

I'm looking to get a tough, waterproof analogue watch to be used primarily outdoors, and to last a long time. It could do with looking reasonable enough to wear for day-to-day use too. Here are a few that caught my eye:

The last one even has a compass, which is a really nice addition. Unfortunately I don't want to spend any more than £50.

Any recommendations? :)

This is a winner: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Brand-New-Sei...1QQihZ010QQcategoryZ31387QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Free shipping to UK and insurance is an additional £4, contacted the seller yesterday :)

That looks truly amazing. However I'm looking for a leather/nylon strap rather than a bracelet. :(

I'm leaning towards this one at the moment:

Assuming I can get the black version. If not, then the Timex Expedition Chronograph looks pretty good, but lacks the compass - I suppose I could buy a seperate one:

Precision on the go! Calculate point of impact by inputting critical variables that determine elevation and wind adjustments. Works on all MILDOT, TMOA, SMOA and clicking rifle scopes. Punch in data about the ammunition you are shooting and the conditions you are shooting in and the watch will display the appropriate hold over for a sure hit... It's that simple. This enhances a shooter's confidence to engage targets out to 1,000 meters with "whenever/wherever" portability. Data is easy to enter - even through gloves - with the most critical information arranged for fast change and access. Accuracy on your wrist!

Sounds quite sophisticated, but a little too pricey...

Thanks for the replies. I'll go and take a look at some :)

Besides the fact that they look ridiculous, I can't see those Storm watches surviving well underwater or being thrown around. And glow in the dark hands are a must. :p

lol

As said I regulary shower with mine with no problems and that would be a fairly high IP rating as it's jetted water.
A lot of ubber fit birds I have met in clubs would totally disagree about them looking 'ridiculous', although I must admit they would look a bit strange on ugly geeks ;)

Perhaps these "ubber fit girls" can't see properly? ;)

Anyway, I already have a nice shiny bracelet style Pulsar watch for going out. I'm looking for a tough watch for outdoor use that won't attract too much attention. :)
