Wanting a full tower case for a new build. (X99 5820K 1070) Budget around £200 ish. Need to be able to house a Black Ice sr2 xtreme+ 420 rad (452x153x60) up top and possibly a 240 rad in the base as well. Have seen the Enthoo Primo full tower and the Be Quiet Dark Base Pro 900 which seem to fit the bill. Just not sure what would work best, or if there is a better alternative out there.

I just took on my first water cooling build in over a decade recently and the Fractal Design Define S was a joy to work with.

a 420 will fit on the top but you need to be aware of the depth (fan and rad need to be 55mm max) so might be a tight squeeze, but honestly unless you already have the sr2 id look at a 360. Im using a 360 slim and a 240 slim with a 980ti and the same cpu and my temps are pretty decent. (build log in my sig, should be temps and pics in there if you want a nosey)

Cheers Kaladon. I have been buying bits and pieces for the new build and picked up the 140mm fans a while ago for the 420 rad. The sr2 not bought yet, but the design seems to operate well with low rpm fans. I like it quiet. I had a nosey at your build log. It wasn't all plain sailing with the new rig but you got there in the end. Nice job. Thanks for sharing

I'm building with a primo right now and I think it is very nice. Very easy to use. Have 480 in top and 240 in side, well when my piping arrives :)

Comes with a fan controller (can handle 11 fans) and I already had one so using that too so I can control intake and exhaust speeds differently.

Primo mentioned 420 capacity up top, but not sure how thick a rad that would be. I take it you are going with 30mm thick rads? The fan controller sounds useful on the Primo. Be good to see a pic or 2 of the finished article when you gets her piped.
