Hey guys,

Well it's time for a big update for me. It's going to be my first water cooled spec so I need to know I've got everything covered here and any suggestions you can think of that might help me :)

Intel Core i7-2700K 3.50GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - OEM - £265.99
XSPC Rasa 750 RS240 Water Cooling Kit - £129.98
Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3P Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard - £129.98
Cooler Master CM-690-II Advanced USB3.0 Windowed Gaming Tower Case - Black - £109.99
2 x Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C8 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (BLTCP4G3D1608DT2TXOBCEU) (Orange & Blue Activity LEDs) **WORLD FIRST** - £99.98
AeroCool Touch 1000 4-Channel LCD Touch Panel Fan Controller - £28.99
2 x Scythe Gentle Typhoon 120mm 1850 RPM - 3 Pin - £31.96
Mayhems Pastel - Gigabyte Orange Coolant 1L - £14.99
Masterkleer Hose Pack PVC 15,9/11mm (7/16ID) UV-Reactive Orange 3.3m - £10.88
3 x BitFenix Spectre LED ORANGE 120mm Fan - £19.47
Total : £908.74

I already have power supply, graphics card and hard drives from my current setup.

Maximum budget to get everything in is £1000. This needs to include pre-braided cables from BitFenix. I want these in orange so they'll have to be from a competitor.

Apart from the above that I've mentioned is there anything else blindingly obvious that I will need?

Thanks :)

EDIT:

Just realised I posted in the wrong section! Can a moderator delete this and I'll post it in the correct one. Thanks :)

I would certainly only get 8gb of RAM and use the £100 saving to get a HAF X and get an OcUK watercooling kit :)

That's £100 for the 16GB. So I'd get a £50 saving. I don't mind going up to the 1000 mark for everything though so there's another £100 to play with in the budget. Not sure I like that case though I have to say...

Ooh!

Go for clear tubing with the orange pastel.

An EK or ocuk kit with nickel plexi blocks will IMO look better.

If you can, id buy a xigmatek Elysium as. It is great for watercooling.
