hi im starting to look into water cooling for the first time hoping you guys can lead me in the right direction.

im looking at getting a corsair 760t case so should have plenty of room for rads etc. ideally i want to go with a drive bay reservoir (just like the look of them). i have a i5 1155 socket i believe on an msi board. graphics card is a msi twin forza 560 ti.

so i know i need a block for the cpu but what about sb/nb blocks are these specific to certain boards or universal? can you also give me some suggestions. as far as the gpu goes i havent mannaged to find a full cover block. so if i fit just a partial cooling block do i need to do anything to cool the rest of the card?

sorry if this has been covered before just want to make sure i get this right

Honestly Dave, I'd look into investing your money into newer hardware, than spending a few hundred £ on cooling older hardware.

As for your questions though, most motherboard blocks are made for specific boards - mainly the highest end ROG and Gigabyte boards. You can get universal blocks for lower end boards, but they don't really offer any benefit over stock cooling.

If you get a universal GPU only block for your graphics card, then yes you will need small heatsinks and good air flow for your memory/mosfets.

also im after a drive bay reservoir any recommendations? which make water block are the best or are they all fairly standard performance wise?
