Hey Guys,

So i've finally decided to stop holding off going for my custom water build, although i have a few questions..

Firstly i was thinking about grabbing a Inwin 805 case, although i was unsure whether or not a single 280 EK radiator would be enough for a CPU+GPU loop.

Depending on the next gen GPU's coming out it might even turn into a CPU+Dual GPU loop. Do you guys think a single 280 EK rad will not be enough to keep decent temps?

If you think i need atleast two 240 rads do you have any options for some other aluminium cases which can house these rads internally?

Also what size tubing would be an ideal size to use on a first build? I kind of would like to go with an acrylic tubing setup although it seems it isn't the best idea for a first custom loop as it seems a lot harder than standard tubing.

Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't go with only a 280 rad for a cpu + sli loop. I have a 360 rad cooling just sli cards and temps can still get a little high. I'd go for a different case with a little more room if I were you, even though the Inwin looks sweet!

Yeah that was my worry.. I think i'll be looking at a full tower in that case. Any recommendations?

There are a few mid towers that support a 360mm + 240mm config. H440 and Define S come to mind.

For tubing, it kinda comes down to personal preference. I went with 16/10 as I wanted fairly thick tubing that wouldn't kink but could still be quite flexible. Mayhems stuff is good and super cheap. I'd recommend doing to build with flexible and then grabbing some hardline stuff later when you are up and running and itching to do something.
