I am planning on watercooling my current setup [sig].

I've doing the research and almost ready to to start buying.

I do have one dilemma. I can only find a water block for the matrix platinum card and not the lightning 7970. So i might just leave that air cooled, its not that loud anyway.

I've been forced to consider this since adding a second gpu (matrix) things have started heating up. The matrix get silly loud and both gpus are hitting 78C. And the cpu is at idle 48C.

So cpu and 1 gpu watercooling setup.

Plan on getting a decent 360 45mm radiator with this XSPC D5 Photon 170 Reservoir/Pump Combo.

Any thoughts on where to get a lightning water block, ebay had sold one on the 27th for £20 but thats not gona happen again.

The bay is probably the only place you'll see one pop up. I had to go there and outbid everyone to get an EOL Ek 7970 block to match my existing one and it's still the only one I've seen for sale.

Unless you're happy to run one on air, I'd maybe think about flogging them both and buying a couple of reference cards :)

Where did you find the matrix block? I have been looking for it for ages now

You can get it direct from ek or 1 other company like ocuk (preorder only though)

BUT just checked ek, yesterday it was 'limited quantity' not its no stock.

I'd keep checking EK usually they say 'no longer in production' or something along those lines but as it says out of stock i imagine they'll have some for sale again.
