New web dev on the block choices

So I'm going to take the plunge now or soon enough now was wondering for a new web developer/designer would a 13"MBA be fine as I'd be using BBEdit and browsers mostly (not touching Dreamweaver) or would I need the 15" of a MBP?

The 13" (and 11) MBA are very powerful. They are as powerful as last years top end MacBook pro 17 i7

I was just worried about the screen size, I guess I would need to play with them for abit at the store

Get a large external monitor then. It's really convenient to dock a small laptop than it would be to buy a bigger one and maybe have to travel with it.

I dev on a 13 inch. It is a fine size. A 24 inch external monitor keeps me happy when in the office.

I think the newer 13" have a higher res - 1440x900?? the older ones only had 1366x768. Macrumours is reporting a possible 15" MBA in the works.

I think the 15" has options of 1440x900 or 1680x1050 so I guess the best bet is to go to a store and try them. Or of you can try setting you current PC to these res to see what it's like.

Personally I got a hi res 17 with 1920x1200 as I wanted 1080p capability
