New website banner - help please

I was wondering if anyone could help come up with a design for a website banner.

The main banner should the title

“Huddys’ World”

And have underneath in a smaller font..

“for all your PC Support & Service needs”

I would also like a big red cross and/or A tool box(Windows XP style) somewhere in the banner.

Would love some matching buttons and Icons.

I’m not that constructive when it comes to ideas and I know some of your are excellent at this.

Open to any ideas and suggestions.

background - White background if possible.

Theme - an Windows XP Theme would be great - nice and smooth edges, bright and colourfull.

Size, about 1" - 2" deep

Fonts - not to worried about fonts or font sizes..

as i said i'm open for suggestions.

think before people can help you just need a little more information.

give as much info as poss then it will be easier to create something :)
 
Although I don't have time to have a go at this until I get home, may I point out something.

The internet is absolutely full of popup adverts, banners, fake error messages etc, copying the XP style. My gut reaction when I see one is to leave the site.

However if its done right and in the right context, it could work. :)
 
Ok, for a start. Now to make modifications. Not sure what you mean by "XP style" though. Sorry.

point taken i guess i was refering to the red cross being not so sharp but easy on the eye.

thanks for the effort :) I was hoping to come away from the current banner i have.. and the banner serves a more serious note, so the disnay font would be a no i'm affraid.

When i say Xp style, im eant soft edges, shadows and colourfull. But as icraig says, there are disadvantages to this.

I'm going to change my website to offer my services so lets to be a little more professional looking.. but easy to look at..
