Finally finished my website for the new business I'm setting up.

Some areas still need some tweaking and I need to review the content, but thought I would post a link and see what you thought.

:)

(I should probably prepair for some slagging lol)

A-spec Solutions are an IT support and IT security solutions company based in Perth, Scotland

shouldn't that be is an IT support and.....

Your navigation isn't in the middle.
Your background navbar doesn't go to the edges.
Your font is quite small.
You haven't used a H1 tag on your homepage.
Your contact page is really.. white.

That'll do for now.

Personally I think it looks a bit dull and a bit 90's to be honest.

I would definitely recommend you hire a copywriter to help with the content.

Some very minor things; when you click on the contact page, where it says "Contact Us" for the title which is underlined, it's slightly lower on the page than the titles on the other pages. Also the about us page should be laid out in the same way as the other pages, the text is over to the right but on the left on the other pages, try moving the "Got a Query?" to the other side.

I would suggest adding a postal address in your 'contact' page. Nothing says 'scammer' more to me than the absence of a postal address.

+1,

not a lot more to add apart from the above comments.

My first impressions were that it looks smart, concise and to the point, quite professional looking.

Good luck with it.

better to remove "parts of" bit

It's a bit cold and clinical looking to my mind.

The 'professional' male and female character image looks a bit dated.

I'm not an expert - just my honest opinion.

It's clean and professional, but a little bland. The first page should have more character, I find using stock photos of a real faces helps achieve this.

I would make the paragraphs smaller in width or increase the font size so each line doesn't look a mile long, it puts people off reading. I would also try a sexier font, I quite like using Segoe UI, but this is down to personal preference.

Try implementing a 3 state navigation using CSS and images, it's not that hard. I've used it on a site I done recently: www.1stopprint.co.uk/web/futurefit

You could also add a quick php/pl contact form to the contact page, again, because people are often lazy.

Other than that there are the minor things people mentioned before, like your navigation bar not going to the edges of the page.

I get you want to seem professional, but repeating it 7 times on the homepage is irritating. If you have already said you are professionals you are already implying your services will be done professionally! :p

The site isn't bad looking, though you should centre the navigation. I would probably put my postal address in the footer too.
