I don't believe the PFF7's come as standard on any Scoobs other than the WR1 but they're a very popular upgrade for the bugeye/blobye's.
The ride and handling are absolutely transformed - it always felt a bit wallowy and unsure on the stock wheels and tyres which are a 17" wheel with 215/55/17 Yokohama Geolanders. Not really up to the task with 230bhp on tap.
On 18"'s with the Toyo T1r's 225/45/18 the ride is much firmer but not too harsh but grip and handling are way better - not so much roll and feels quite planted for a big car and much more akin to my previous WRX.
Definately needs lowering though. Trouble with the FXT is in the UK they have self levelling rear suspension so you can't just swap the springs over as it just jacks itself back up again
Very little available in Forester specific upgrades although most Impreza stuff will go on but it drops it down a good 3 inches or more.
What I will do though is put a Whiteline rear ARB and solid droplinks front and rear which should make a lot of difference - already have a front strutbrace fitted.
So that should be it then for brakes (Prodrive 330 BBK) already on, wheels and tyres sorted and suspension/handling done so I can move on to the oily bits
Managed to get a Forester Prodrive back box the other day which frees up some of that 2.5 boxer burble so all I need to do is fit a decat centre pipe, fast flow cat in the downpipe, upgrade the turbo/intercooler/filter and poss fuel pump and injectors and I should be good for 330 bhp / 330 lbs
