And a car to go with them :D

Can't wait to pick it up on Wednesday!

Any type-r owners on here?

Oooh, Premier edition.

I have a 2003 Satin Silver CTR. Just been up in Scotland for 2 weeks on some amazing roads. Even full of camping gear it's an awesome car to drive. I love it.

Those are just pics that I stole from the dealers website, I'll post up some proper ones as soon as I get it... after I've been to the VTEC zone of course ;)

After VTEC'ing all over the place, I thought I'd try and take a few decent snaps...

I've not really had the urge to photograph any previous motors, so they're a bit noobish! The sun had started to go down by this time too.

I do really like CTR's. In black they look great

Are those tints legal? They seem to be a bit too dark to me, it looks a little odd with the the front passenger and drivers windows not tinted in a lighter shade?

They can be as dark as you like at the back but the front has to let 75% of the light though and the fronts on that look fine.

Very nice mate. Does look mint in black.

How you finding it? Gotta love the adiction for VTEC, Although your wallet becomes smaller and smaller the more you enjoy VTEC :D

Type-R Owner here, I had mine for 4-5 months now. Heres mine...

That looks awesome mate, I wanted some shots like that but I didn't want to start crawling on the ground etc lol. I was after a Milano or Black, the only 2 colours that do it for me.

As for VTEC, I'm hooked! It's burning a massive hole in my wallet though, so I'm going to have to calm down a bit! I've been driving at any given opportunity since Wednesday, I've burnt £95 worth of fuel :o

I've got a question though, I'm not a speeder, but I drove past a 'Caught on Camera' van today in a 30 zone, I was doing about 35-40. Do these things record whilst in transit or just when stationary? I'm brickin' it as I've only had my license 18 months, therefore can only incur 2 speeding penalties. Any ideas?

Edit - Also, do you use the Civic type-R owners forum at all (or anyone else reading this). Just out of interest?!

The Vans only record when parked up not when on the move *I think. Can someone back this up?

Two sites mate,

Civic Type R Owners or Type R Owners

Both pretty busy forums.

I know what you mean about the wallet mate, although you start driving it like a normal car after a couple of months :p

Get on the floor and get some decent photos ;)

What do the CTR's rev to? I have to shift literally just before or at the rev limiter to get it to go back into the VTEC. (7,800rpm) comes in at 5,800rpm.

Mines rev limiter comes in a just after 8, and VTEC picks up just after 6.

My Dads got the new CTR and his picks up around 5.
