The new White Stripes album "Icky Thump" is going to be released on June 19th in Europe.

Anyone excited?

I'm glad to see Jack White back from the Raconteurs, they weren't my cup of tea, meaning i thought they were **** :)

Remember hearing The White Stripes for the first time on John Peel's show years back, first time he played them, ahhh those were the days :)
 
Should be good mate, they dont make crap songs and I dont see why this would be any different. Although the artwork for the album looks like they have both lost it a little (again ;)).

Yep the Raconteurs weren't great. Can't wait for this album, I'm a massive fan, although I still think their first 2 albums were the best.
 
Yeah i liked bits and pieces of their latest albums, but to be honest, on the whole they arent close to the old stuff, but saying that... they're still 100 times better than most of the stuff out there! :)
 
Neah it was my bad really, saw it announced on an american website, and just wrote as i saw...

Don't worry, your american dating system hatred is not without its supporters ;)
