New Winamp - No media key support?

Ok so today I updated to the latest version of Winamp, uninstalled the old one and installed the new.

I noticed that the media keys on my G11 weren't working so I went into the Winamp options to enable them and noticed there isn't any options for it anymore...

I've been trying to work it out for the past 10 minutes and can't find anything in Winamp at all. Am I being thick or have they removed it from the options?

Winamp 5.572?

Options > Preferences > Global Hotkeys.

You have the following list:

yea thats what i looked for and it isnt there, i'll check what version it is when i get home.

With apps like WinAMP there's really no need to update unless you need the new features it delivers - I'm still on the earlier version of version 5.5 as I only use it to play music via the playlist and use the send to transcoder option for -alt-insane MP3 conversions from FLAC for the car for example.

Checked, and it's version 5.572. And the global hotkeys isn't where it says on your list: http://img707.imageshack.us/img707/6449/rhd.png

Edit: Reinstalled it and they are there now. Odd :confused:

Reinstall it and make sure you select it as a extra when you install you have to click a box for it, I had the same problem

As Infam0us suggests a reinstall would fix it; you probably did a custom install last time and left it out?

If it really isn't there (be quite surprised), then go onto one of those old exe file websites. They should have a copy of a version that has what you need.

Yea I think I may have accidently ticked the wrong box when choosing the options
