I know I been read many posts people been asked when will Nvidia have new Control Panel for Windows 10 as current Nvidia Control Panel was dated since Windows XP which people complaint that it is too slow but majority of people like me never had a problem with it and not used everyday but only used once everytime when installed new driver. If it not broken, don't fix it until Microsoft finally ditch ancient control panel that been in used since Windows 2.0 back in 1987. So let look back memories lane on old Nvidia control panels first. :D

Windows 95

I managed to find the original Nvidia control panel for Riva 128 in 1997.

Look like we will see new Nvidia Control Panel in upcoming 400 series driver when Nvidia will launch Turing GPUs in summer.

Hope guy at Nvidia wont get fired by leaked new Nvidia Control Panel to his friend on reddit, it been about a year since Nvidia intern Mike Tsai leaked picture of his Titan V prototype.

That Windows 10 one is nothing new - its just the old ESA thingy with some minor tweaks that was part of nVidia System Tools at some point.

No I think you are mistaken. I remembered Nvidia System Tools installed on my old Phenom II 940 system with ASUS M3N72-D motherboard with nForce 750A SLI chipset, googled found what Nvidia System Tools looked like but it looked nothing resembled like Nvidia Geforce Control for Windows 10. Nvidia System Tools was discontinued in 2011.

Prior to Phenom II 940, I had Athlon 64 X2 4400+ on ASUS A8N-E motherboard with nForce 4 Ultra chipset used nTune software so nTune looked nothing resembled like Nvidia Geforce Control.
