New Windows 8 install won't boot, help please

Hi all,

Had my PC working fine with an old ssd

I've since upgraded to a new Samsung 840 EVO, installed Windows 8 and it gets to the stage where it does multiple restarts as part of the process, and at what I assume is the last reboot, it comes back, you see the windows logo, then just get a black screen after

Does anyone have any advice please?

I unplugged all USB devices and it seems to have booted and continued with the setup

Hopefully it works after the setup with them still plugged in

Turns out it was running the setup through the gfx card and then for some reason switching to the monitor on the onboard graphics... Very odd

I didn't notice as I didn't have that monitor on haha
