So. What to use?
Install is W7 64 Ultimate.

Are there problems using GPT [which I have never used]?
Is MBR the best way to go?

Help.

Use GPT as you're Win7 x64. Differences are that MBR is limited to 2TB and can only contain a handful of partitions.

If you want a full breakdown, then check here

According to Microsoft, if your system uses BIOS instead of UEFI, you will not be able to boot from a GPT partition. Bear that in mind before you take the plunge. Also consider that, unless your system uses UEFI and you need more than four partitions on your SSD, there's no compelling reason to use GPT over MBR.
