Hi guys, can someone please help.
I just installed windows on a replacement SSD and went to assign a letter to my secondary hard drives. I wasn't able to on 1 however because it says dynamic and can't access the files etc.
However when I put my old windows drive back in all was fine and shows as normal.

Anyone kind enough to spare a thought on this matter? Cheers

did you install windows with the other hdd's attached? maybe you need to do that as it might be sharing some files with the original os drive? cant think whatelse you can try

First time I installed with hard drives attached, then tried a second time with them separate, exact same results. Even tried a 4th drive which also works on same sata port. So frustrating, it won't even let me convert.

tried assigning a new letter to it on your other pc? then try in new pc?

Tried that with no luck, however I did notice it is infact dynamic in the previous windows install (but can use hard drive still), software to convert doesn't work on that either unless I wipe it. :/
