new wireless card not picking up router/working

Hi all, i got the Asus pce-N15 for my son, fitted in his pc.. it worked.. (all this before he came home from school) come back from school and it was not working.. so i thought ah must be a driver.. tried updating the the drivers.. no luck.. tried following microsofts steps online still no luck..
theres 2 lights at the back of it green and oranage but none are lit up.

so basically any experts here before i send it back for RMA (i hope it is not broken)

Have you tried it in a different slot and/or a different PC?

Does the PC see the device at all?

not tried it in another device and only has one slot, it did recognise at first but not anymore at all, which is a pain.
