great then all you need to do is this:
1. Buy a good router i recommend this one from OCUK its the same as mine and i have had no problems whatsoever with it from as soon as i plugged it in: Linksys WAG354G-UK 4-Port Wireless-G Broadband Modem Router Price - £44
2. Put the router beside one of the PC's and connect it to the router via the ethernet cable that comes with the router - Price Free
3. Install the following wireless USB Dongle into the second PC: Linksys WUSB54GC Wireless-G USB Network Adapter Price - £24.
4. Turn on the router
5. On the the PC connected via the ethernet cable do the following: open up your internet explorer and type in the routers IP address, it should be set to default, which is 192.168.1.1. This will allow you to setup your internet connection. This is rather simple to do and takes very little time.
5. Once you have your internet connection setup on the router the internet should work on that PC.
6. On the PC with the Wireless USB Dongle do the following: open up your control panel>network connections and you will see a wireless network connection icon. Double click this and this opens a new window. You should see your wireless connection appear in this window, if it does not appear then on the right hand side of the window click search for wireless networks or refresh. When your connection appears double click on it and you should then be connected to your router and the internet.
7. Your laptop should automatically pick up a new wireless network and all you need to do is connect to it. If it does not do the same thing as you did in step 6.
That should be you all setup mate, however there are some extra things i would recommend you do to take advantage of a home network and for your own Network security.
1. Secure your wireless connection with a wep key, this is easy to configure and prevents any unautirsed people connecting to your router and pc's.
2. Enable Printer and file sharing, this allows you to print from any pc to any printer on your networked pc'sand also allows you to share files like mp3's and photos.
I hope this all made sense if you need any further help just post here or drop me an email (email in trust - the name is the same but change to @gmail.com)
It sounds a lot to do but i can talk you through it step by step if you have msn.
