Taken from OC website review on the WRT160N

Upgraded to this router from an old Linksys BEFSR41, and to behonest i wish hadn`t. Yes its easy to setup, but i get constant disconnects and very poor speeds, even on wired connections.

It also gets extremely hot and, according to forums that i have read, a lot of other people experience the same problem.

Doesn't look too good.

I am also looking for something the same and on same ISP.

I've got the Linksys WAG160N. Can't fault it.

That has built in modem and he is on Virgin no modem needed.

The WRT*Ns have limited third party firmware support too, in part because they sometimes completely change with a hardware version (i.e. WRT160Nv1 != WRT160Nv2).
