Have to say I'm really not that impressed, for a start the lead character looks like sodding Max Payne in his leather jacket!!

Some nice tricks in there but the characters don't look all that well animated to me. The nazis look a bit too artificial, like when he's chucking that grenade, the movement just doesn't look right.

I'm worried they've ruined the classic that is RTCW. I'd been more happy if they just remade RTCW with better graphics. Depot or Beach made with current gen graphics would be excellent!

I think most games that are developed for mainly consoles turn out to be junk.

Crysis and Supreme commander have both been exceptionally good games, neither for console

I said it before in another thread and I will say it again, but this game probably looks to be really disappointing.

To be honest I've not been very impressed with id Software's games made on the id Tech 4 engine i.e. Doom 3, Quake IV, Quake Wars, and perhaps now this new Wolfenstein?

Maybe because they just don't bring anything new to those IP's apart from quite nice, but too dark and brown graphics.

id Tech 4 and Unreal Engine 3 have both had way worse games than their predecessors.

But at least comparing those two only, Unreal Engine 3 is a lot better since there is much more different games that use it and so its not just stuck on old IPs.

That looks shocking

I really liked the atmosphere of the first. I never got around to finishing it but I loved all the castle part and I'd gotten through the town I think, was down in some dungeon but some other game got my attention.

Does look pretty meh, then again its coming from raven software so i didn't expect much, all their recent stuff has been pretty middle of the road, despite the hype people still seem to have for them.

didnt really like the sp side of the first game but the mp was great.

looks like console guff, generic gameplay and graphics. Typical stuff all over again.

Looks about 4 years old & still poor but its expected as only another generic multiplatform title which will be cutdown to fit the console with the PC as an afterthought. The other trailer with pure ingame footage looks pretty average as well

Wolfenstein name is the only selling point they have to trade on. You can see why there aiming for a summer release as it will tie in nicely with Tarantino's new Nazi killing movie.

Raven used to be a top PC developer...........
