I'm about to build a new workstation, any comments on what I've picked below...

This has to be reliable so I won't be overclocking, are there any better motherboard options?

Any better memory options (for 2*2G) ?

Thanks for any comments,

Nial

i would change your RAM and Mobo to something like a gigabyte ga p55m ud2 and some corsair dominator, they work great together. and personally for the money your paying for the amd i would go with an i5 which kicks ass at £140

just a suggestion!

Looks fine. Ignore the Crucial memory comment above. I've never seen a bad stick from them in 10+ years of doing IT Support for a living.

I personally wouldnt touch Crucial memory with a barge pole, only ever seen bad things with their RAM

Although I've also seen quite a few bad comments, I've never had a problem with Crucial memory over many years of using the standard and Ballistix ranges. However I never put more than the stock volts (not the maximum listed voltage) through them even when overclocking so maybe that's the key.

I dunno just my experiences of machines we have at work we had a complete batch with crucial memory and they seemed to go faulty more so than any other manufacturer.

The machines I refer to were quite old mind you. However if I was to buy "value" memory then I would be buying Kingston Value as I've never had a problem with them.

Just my 2 cents
