New X99 Rig

Hi,

Finally decided to take the plunge and replace my Sandybridge rig, got bored of waiting for Skylake!

So far I've picked up (most on MM):

EVGA SuperNova G2 1600W
Crucial Ballistix 16gb Quad channel DDR4 Kit C16 2666mhz
Gigabyte GA-X99-SOC Force
Intel 5930K

I will probably also get a:-

Corsair Carbide 540 High Airflow ATX Cube Case
Intel 750 Series NVMe PCIe SSD/Solid State Drive 400GB
Additional AMD 290X (Crossfire)

Thoughts?

What an epic board you have picked.

Make sure its on the latest BIOS.

P.S I have just fitted an Intel 750 400Gb into a X99 board, once the driver+software is installed it unleashes the power.

Yep going to be done same gaming, Photoshop, Video Editing, Vmware (ESXI) etc.

On holiday next week so will have to sort it out when I get back
