...but's it's not being worked on by Ken Levine (as was widely speculated), it's 2K Marin, who coincidentally followed up Bioshock, which he was the lead on.

I was already expecting an FPS, so I wasn't completely thrown by that. I'd still like a turn-based strategy XCOM, though.

I used to play xcom apoc in realtime mode.

I seem top remember the turn-based combat in apocalypse was very badly implemented. I tried and failed to play that way, and ended up going real-time as it was the only way it was playable.

Not a bad game, but nowhere near as good as the first two games.
