Hi Guys

OcUK are pleased to announce that we will be stocking the brand new high end CPU block from XSPC

The Raystorm Block comes complete with all the mounting hardware for your Intel or AMD cpu and has a cool light up feature that makes your system really stand out from the crowd.

This is the new High End block from XSPC as it has better flow channels and a larger contact plate than the RASA block

the RASA is still being sold and is still a current part but the higher performance that the RayStorm offers sees it sitting alongside it as XSPCs flagship block.

The RayStorm block is due to ship in a few weeks and pricing has been confirmed today.

how does the edge 2(if not heard of that think delta v3 as the 2 are almost identical) compare to this? I bought the edge 2 back in 2008 but never got around to using it, its got the sk775 fitting(there maybe a 1156 fitting released for the delta v3, I know there is one for 1366 but not 100% on 1156) but the asrock extreme7 mb allows for sk775 coolers to be used from what I've read), thinking about going watercooling in the future(at the moment will be using the ocuk h2flo).

btw is this price an pre-order price only? asking as the h2flo was released at £38 then its been increased and when people complained got told the £38 was an introductory price(even tho no such mention was mentioned in the original post of the thread)

this is the announced RRP from XSPC directly.
this is the price it will be sold for everywhere.
If I do an introductory price, I make it very clear.
This is the price the block will be normally unless it goes on TWO

the Raystorm is the new high end block from XSPC that performs much better than their previous blocks.

In addition to this, the block is being reviewed very well

Spoken to XSPC this morning, stock is due to land any time soon at their end so we will have the item in stock soon after.

I must warn you all that demand for this product is extremely high and stock is very limited at the moment.

as soon as I have any updates, I will let you all know.

Stock ordered this morning

ETA - Tomorrow!!!!
get in quick as quantities are very very limited

the stock landed just before the warehouse closed yesterday, orders have shipped this morning, massive apologies for the delay

No need, will be one happy chappy when its on my desk. Got the confirmation e-mail this morning. Have to best honest I had it pre-ordered at a number or retailers and you guys were the first with stock so cancelled the rest.

2 Laing D5 Vario's waiting to pump some of Mayhems Ultra Pure H2O into the block for the CPU only side :)

Good to hear we had stock first :)

Get some pics on the thread when you get it, it would be interesting to hear your opinions!

Didn't take any pics but installed the block today.

Highlights:

The product oozes quality and feels very well made.
Base has been machined and buffed to perfection. Passes the razor blade test.
A good solid mounting system
Comes with a tube of thermal paste

Only down side was my block didn't come with any instruction manuals

Compared to the EK Supreme HF, its 2-3C better under load (IBT). This is on a 2600k running at 4.6Ghz.

Wont get the opportunity to really put the PC through its paces till next weekend and there may still be some air in the system. CPU loop is running the following kit:

2x 120.1 Hardware Labs Black ICE Stealth GTS
2X Alphacool VP655SE D5 "5" Setting - In Series
2x Scythe Gentle Typhoon
1X XSPC RayStorm CPU Block
1X Alphacool Delrin Bay Reservoir
1X Aquacomputer Aquaero 5
Indigo Xtreme "Engineered Thermal Interface"

Designed for silence 90% of the time (800rpm) and when needed the fans are ramped up to 1850rpm for performance.

The GPU loop will be identical when I can secure 2 full cover blocks.

Conclusion: Buy this block... now :) The microchannels are "deeper" than the Supreme HF which may attribute to its better cooling ability?

would be brilliant to see some pictures if you get the opportunity!

your WC gear sounds spot on!

TBH I would have been happier if I had the room for a single 240 or even a 360 rad for the CPU. The new XSPC rads look rather yum.

Top and rear exhausts are for the CPU rads at the moment. Keeping it looking as "stock" as possible is important whilst keeping it below whisper quiet.

The perils of watercooling a Antec P182 :(

EDIT - OT a bit:

Just had a look at the link in your sig... its scarey that we both went for white tubing, silver fittings and black components. Very nice rig. Get yourself some Indigo Xtreme ;)

A TJ07 is on my shopping list but did you find the padding helped with the noise?
