I am after a bit of asistance from all you well travelled or New Yorkers (U.S.).

I am off to Newyork over the Christmas Period and I have a few things I would like to do but would appreciate any recommendations of things to do, places to see. Anything recommeded for Christmas Day (Also better half's birthday) especially..(Dec 20-27th)

Would appreciate any hints / tips.

I think I got a decent deal on the flight, Mrs is wanting to do the shopping, ice skating, top of the rock. WOnder what else is out there....?

I have paid about 3k for flights , B&B accomodation for 8 days, but his is over the festive period so you should be able to get cheaper.
