New York

Cool, where did you sit in the Arena?

I hear what your saying about ticketmaster but they are sold out.

Edit i am currently looking at ~300 level seating

I was in section 93, so close-ish but still a whole set of seats away from the court. To be honest ~300 level is one from top and is the arena is HUGE so I wouldn't expect to be able to see much.

They have a website that lets you see the view from each section to give you an idea: http://www.thegarden.com/seating/

Well i got my tickets for Royal Rumble, should be a right laugh :D

Can anybody recommend a shooting range in New York?

Also, is New York stupidly cold this time of the year, will i need to put plenty of layers on? or will hat/gloves suffice?

I went beginning to Mid January a few years ago and it was a few degrees below freezing most days.

I stupidly assumed it would be warmish last Feb, I left London in a tshirt and it started snowing when I exited the subway.

Had to a buy an I love NY hat to keep warm

Couple of random notes,

I went on a quest to find whitecastle, I was in the not best area of town, but the burgers were well worth it as always.

The Mc Donalds up the street from Groud Zero, is odd, they have a grand piano up in the air with someone playing it well.

You have to book in advance to get into the pedatal of the statue now, I’d have liked to do that, so if its something you might want to do pre book online http://www.statuecruises.com/
The monument access is free with a pre-booked ferry ticket which you’d have to pay to get on the island anyway. There is only so many passes a day and were sold out when I tried.
