New YouTube layout. Thoughts?

Hello!

What do you lot make of the new YouTube layout? It seems to be updated every year - not a bad thing I guess. I feel that they have gone for a more simplistic, clean and tucked away look. I do however miss the recommended video section.

If you cannot see the new layout, hit Ctrl + F5.

Thoughts?

Edit: My Flash player bugs out occasionally, I have to reboot Firefox (beta) to regain audio.

Seems to be alright. I have a tendency to get annoyed at such changes, particular with the likes of Facebook, but after a while I just forget what I was even annoyed about in the first place.

Mine has also been like this for ages. I think there is a different version though, which I can't seem to get.

Just cleared my cookies and it has thrown me back to the old layout sadly. I didn't manage to get any screen-shots either. Maybe if you use Google Chrome you'll see it?

That's what I see but almost half the screen to the right is totally blank! I'm using adblock though so maybe that space is full of ads?

I think its a cropped image, it has to run on tablets in portrait mode so naturally widescreen monitor users get a bit of a raw deal.

That was it. Do you know how I could get that back? I checked that "Try something new" link in the footer, but can't find anything design related within.

I have the old one and I hope to stay there. The new one is the ****tiest one I've used since I started using YouTube in 2006.

FYI Now Playing incorrectly links to youtube.com root instead of youtube.com/videos
