hi i am building my first comp and am wondering where the heck a few things go !!

i have an akasa eclipse 62 case and a nforce 680i sli mobo, just wondering where does the little red cable with speaker written on it go.. i suppose it , must be for the on board speaker but erm like where does it go haha !

also the cables that go around the whole bottom of the case i think they are the front panel usb cables where do they go ? i was gonna just guess but then i thought that was a bad idea !!

Check (read) the motherboard manual. It will tell you where all the onboard connectors are.

It will depend on how your mobo is laid out. Read the manual, as above.

oh yeah that is partly the problem i read the manual and it doesn't point out these things ?? or maybe im just bein stupid lol i will check it again but sure it doesn't say, anyone else got one of these boards?

ok i just plugged in the psu and turned it on and its making this loud squeaking noise

check fans. just stop them with your finger see if the squeek stops.. if you have the side off then u should be able to see where its from
