Hi everyone.

I’ve had a bit of a search but I don’t really know what I’m searching for. I’ll get to it.

after watching videos on building a PC for the last couple of months (literally hundreds) I’ve decided this is the best way to go. I used to dabble in computers in 1998-2002 but joined the military as a trucker and..... well, now I’m lost.

I’m slowly buying my components over the next week and only a few have turned up, so maybe I’m getting ahead of myself but I’m confused as the where to plug the fans into the Mobo.

I’ve bought the Corsair iCUE 220t airflow case which comes with 3 front panel fans and a ego control module for 6 fans. I’ve moved them all so 2 are on top and one at the back. I’m going to buy a Corsair H115 AIO for the front. I have the MSI mpg x570 gaming pro carbon motherboard and this has 4 sysfan headers.
My question is, when I’m done, I’ll have 5 rgb fans to plug into the mobo but only 4 sysfan headers. The mobo has a Corsair header that I don’t understand. Is it possible to use 5 rgb fans with this mobo? Where would I be plugging the AIO fans into? I see the pump header, for such a high end mobo (I think so anyway) I’d have thought there would be enough headers for 6 fans, the instruction manual specifically mentions the Corsair rgb fan control module and shows 6 fans being used but for the life of me I can’t work it out.
Maybe I should just wait for the AIO to arrive but I’m a little concerned I’ve bought a bit off a duff mobo.
Thanks in advance for any help. Much appreciated
