Newbie Advice for Hard Pipe

Hi

I have ordered most of my components today

Lian Li PC-O8SWX ATX Cube Case
Maximus VIII Formula Intel Z170
Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz (Skylake) Socket LGA1151
Dominator Platinum 16GB 4 x 4GB
BitFenix Alchemy 2.0 PSU Cable Kit - Red
Corsair HX1000i
Samsung 950 Pro 512GB M.2 PCI-e
EK-Supremacy EVO - Nickel Water Block

I'm struggling with all the fittings etc.

I want hard pipe my system but i dont know what i need or the sizes.

Whats the standard size everyone uses in the photos i see allot of?

Have you ever built a wc system and were u comfortable doing it?

If not then go back and do a soft tube build first tbh.

this is my first water system. I'm used to building remote controlled planes and helicopters and like a challenge.

I presume the norm for medium size cases is 12mm :confused:

I use 16/11mm (Outer Diameter/Inner Diameter) for my loops no matter what the size of the case. I use it with 16/13mm fittings so that the tube is nice and snug

EDIT: Please note that is only for flex loops!
